Having a light and porous appearance, still solid like the earth itself, Vesuvio is similar to tuff stone which originates from the accumulation of volcanic materials and fragments of limestone and silica. It is inspired by the palaces of ancient Parthènope, the archaic heart of Naples, the city built over the quarry from which the stone used to build it originated. Likewise, Vesuvio creates geometries in harmonious balance with the land hosting them; buildings testifying to a history of perfect continuity between earth and man, between nature and architecture, between above and below; a tale that is visceral, intense, energetic like the city extending at the foot of the volcano from which it takes its name, the beating heart of an iconic, unmistakable, inimitable Italian spirit.
